Audit AI Worker Selected for 'The Meet Hiroshima Open Accelerator 2026'

Northstar System LLC is pleased to announce that it has been selected for 'The Meet Hiroshima Open Accelerator 2026' hosted by Hiroshima Prefecture. In collaboration with Mihara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, we will conduct a proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstration under the theme of 'Automated Verification of Receipts and Cash Ledgers for Performance Reports' utilizing our document verification AI, 'Audit AI Worker.'

In the administrative verification of performance reports, staff members must cross-examine multiple supporting documents—such as receipts and cash disbursement ledgers—to verify item-by-item consistency. Because documents often involve handwritten notes and inconsistent formatting, reducing administrative burden and stabilizing review accuracy have become prominent operational challenges.

Audit AI Worker goes far beyond basic AI-OCR character recognition. It is an intelligent document verification AI capable of cross-referencing multi-document contents, determining logical consistency, detecting discrepancies or omissions, and organizing audit findings into unified reports. Supporting handwritten receipts and scanned forms, it helps automate cross-referencing workflows that previously required exhaustive visual inspection by human staff.

Prior validation using actual municipal document samples has already demonstrated matching accuracy comparable to human visual checks. In this upcoming PoC, we will rigorously evaluate verification precision, turnaround speed, and operational workflow integration in real government environments, striving to alleviate municipal staff workload while establishing uniform inspection quality.

Through our close collaboration with Mihara City, Northstar System will advance the development of practical, production-ready document audit AI, contributing to productivity improvements across government subsidy reviews, application inspections, and performance audits.
